Your Day on the Water

Getting there…

An adventure with Tampa Shark Diving starts at the dock on the day of your tour. Once all guests have arrived, our team goes over the day ahead and helps prepare our shark divers and shark viewers with an understanding of the experience and how they can maximize the thrilling adventure on the water.

When crew and guests are on board the boat, our team heads out into the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico to our shark diving grounds. It takes roughly half an hour to an hour ride on our comfortable dive boat to reach our diving locations. Once there, the crew will begin to prepare you for your adventure and start to chum the waters to attract your dive partners.

Once the sharks arrive, our experienced crew will help you maximize your face-to-face shark encounters in a dive or viewing adventure.

Your Excursion

Getting Face to Face with Sharks

Once the sharks arrive at our dive site, the real fun begins!

If you are joining us for a shark viewing adventure, our crew will setup hook-less bait lines to allow you to interact with the sharks on the surface of the water. Enjoy close-up views and great photo opportunities with a variety of shark species.

If you’re joining us for a shark diving adventure, our team will get in the water with the sharks to prepare for our guests. Once the divers have determined that it is time for guests to get in the water each diver is helped into the ocean and begin enjoying the awe-inspiring experience of being a few feet away from the ocean’s apex predators.

During the dive, our guest’s comfort is our primary concern as our safety divers watch our divers and the ocean to ensure an amazing experience.

After spending time in the water, our guests are helped back into the boat and the diving excursion comes to a close.

Guests are then taken back to the dock to conclude the tour!
